Truckmounted Cleaning Equipment:
Our truckmounted cleaning system consists of a unit named "The Beast". K & R Carpet Cleaning is the only carpet cleaning company in the Pittsburgh area using this cleaning system. This unit contains a powerful vacuum system along with high pressure solution delivery. Our truck also contains a propane heater which can give us solution temperature's up to 280 degrees to help remove the most stubborn grease and oils. This along with our rotovac wand described below, helps assure we give you the most thorough carpet cleaning possible.
Rotovac Powerwand:
The Rotovac Powerwand replaces the manual scrub wand for extraction carpet cleaning. Combining rotary agitation with hot water extraction, the Rotovac cleans better, leaves the carpet drier and is much easier to use than a wand.
Here's how it works:
The Rotovac employs a patented process of Rotary Jet Extraction cleaning. Each stainless steel cleaning head has three spray jets followed by three vacuum slots. Dual high torque gear motors power the heads in a counter-rotating motion at 250 RPM to produce 1500 rotary cleaning passes per minute.
The patented dome-shaped design of the cleaning heads completely encapsulates the spray jets and vacuum slots to create a "steam chamber" effect in the cleaning zone with minimal heat loss. This powerful combination of contained heat, agitation and multiple flushing action creates cleaning dynamics that cannot be equaled with a manual wand.
Portable Extractor:
For areas that we are unable to use our truckmounted cleaning system, such as high-rise apartment buildings, we have portable extractors. We also use these portable extractors for our upholstery cleaning service.
